About 6E Club: Who Runs the 6eclub.tv Video Platform
Checked · 6E Club help guide
About 6E Club in one line: it is a free video platform at 6eclub.tv where anyone can watch, upload, follow channels and build playlists, on the website or in the Android app. This page explains what the platform is, what it is not, how it is run day to day, and how the technology behind it works in plain words.
What 6E Club Is
6E Club is a place to put videos and to find them. A viewer gets an HD player that adapts its quality to the connection, subtitles when the uploader added them, playlists, a watch history that can be paused, a vertical shorts feed and search across videos, channels, playlists and hashtags. All of that works without an account.
A free account adds the rest: likes, favorites, follows with a notification bell, comments, and a channel of your own. Uploading from the browser or the Android app accepts MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and AVI files up to 4 GB and two hours each, and a video is watchable the moment the upload finishes. The creator studio holds the videos table, analytics, playlists, comment moderation and channel settings.
The audience is Indian mobile users first, which shapes every default: small pages, quality that drops on mobile data, an eco mode, uploads that resume after a dropped connection, and titles and search that mix Hindi and English. Anyone anywhere can use it just the same.
What 6E Club Is Not
Several things are deliberately missing, and we would rather say so here than let a copycat page fill the gap. There are no payments of any kind: nothing to buy, nothing to deposit, no premium tier. There is no earnings programme for creators in this first version and no advertising at launch. There is no live streaming yet, no sign-in through other companies, and no phone helpline.
The 6E Club name is also used elsewhere for products that have nothing to do with video. This site is only the video platform. If a page or app asks for money, a code or a document in our name, it is not us; the checks on the real-or-fake page show how to tell.
| We do | We never |
|---|---|
| Host and stream your videos for free | Charge for watching, uploading or verification |
| Review every report with a human reviewer | Remove a video without a reason you can appeal |
| Keep likes, favorites and history private | Sell your data or run advertising trackers |
| Act on a valid copyright notice within 36 hours | Ignore a counter-notice from the uploader |
| Answer support by email from [email protected] | Call, message or ask you for a password or code |
| Tell you what changes and when | Promise features the product does not have |
How the Platform Is Run
Uploads go live without a queue in front of them. What keeps the platform clean is the Report button on every video, comment and channel, backed by a small review team that reads each report and chooses to remove, restrict to adults or keep. A video that gathers five open reports is hidden on its own until someone has looked. Removals carry a strike that lasts 90 days, and every decision can be appealed once within six months. The full rules are in the community guidelines.
Rights-holders have their own route. A takedown form at the copyright page, and the inbox [email protected], reach the people who act on valid notices within 36 hours, pass counter-notices back to claimants, and apply the repeat-infringer rules. Complaints under the IT Rules 2021 go to the 6E Club grievance team through the contact page, with an acknowledgement within 24 hours and a resolution within 15 days.
The Technology in Plain Words
When you upload, the file travels in small chunks that can be retried one at a time, which is why a dropped connection does not send you back to zero. The original file is stored on a global edge network and is playable straight away. Within minutes an encoder processes it into 360p, 720p and 1080p versions, plus three thumbnail frames and the little preview images you see when you scrub the timeline.
Playback streams those versions from the edge location closest to the viewer, switching quality as the connection changes, so a bus ride on a weak signal drops to 360p rather than stopping. Accounts, comments, likes and reports live in a database on the same network; passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and sessions expire after 30 days. The player guide explains what each of those pieces looks like from the viewer’s side, and the privacy policy lists exactly which data is kept and for how long.
Who This Site Is For
Viewers who want a quick, light place to watch without an account. Creators who want a channel, a studio and honest analytics without being told they must post daily. Families who want a filter that is on by default and cannot be switched off on a teenager’s account. And rights-holders who want a takedown route that is visible, fast and answered by a person. If that is you, the home page is the place to start.
Safe by Default
Hide sensitive content is switched on for every new account and every signed-out visitor, likes and history are private, and made-for-kids videos carry no comments. None of that needs setting up.
The one thing we cannot do for you is keep your login code to yourself. We never ask for it, by any channel, and anybody who does is not us.
Accounts are for people aged 13 and over; mature-content settings need 18+. Every video, comment and channel has a Report button, and reports are reviewed by people. Never share your password or a one-time code with anyone who contacts you in the name of 6E Club. Read our online safety guide.
